I suffer from a case of insecurity-bred narcissism. Screwed-up childhood experiences will change you for both the better and the worse. I laugh at my own jokes, even if no one else does. I honestly believe that you must want to know me, even if you really don't.
I read. Duh. It's my favorite thing to do now that I'm not wasting away any more of what's left of my life with excessive drinking and partying,
Actually, I've rediscovered my love of reading over the past few years, when an online gamer friend introduced me to a book series (that shall not be mentioned for fear of bringing shame upon my household), which sparked my passion for books all over again. As a child, when I wasn't outside riding my bike or building forts, I probably had a book in hand. Reading became my escape from the aforementioned screwed-up childhood experiences. I started out with The Secret Garden, Little House on the Prairie, Nancy Drew, and Where the Red Fern Grows, but have no shame in admitting that I was a Baby-Sitters Club and Sweet Valley High junkie in my pre-teen years.
My three goals in life :
Publish at least a few books (and not completely suck at it).
Get my pilot's license.
Travel the world extensively.
Shows I'm currently vibing on ;
Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Hell on Wheels, Vikings, Downton Abbey, Boardwalk Empire (I'm a total 1920's freak - I'd be thrilled to be able to travel back in time and put on my flapper dress so I could go hang out at a speakeasy).
Music taste :
Eclectic, depending on mood. I listen to about as many music genres as I read book genres.
