2.5 stars. This one's a bit improved from book 1.The reason I liked Accordance better than the first book is because it felt like more was happening outside of Caleb and Maggie's personal bubble. If anything, I found myself skimming some of Caleb and Maggie's story, just so I could read more about Jen and Bish (not sure why I've connected so much to them...maybe because I like reading stories about people who have baggage or inner torment), or Kyle and his new baggage.Am I on the hook for book 3? Sure, why not. I can't wait to see what happens next for Jen and Bish. Caleb and Maggie who?The few complaints I do have mostly revolved around the amount of nickname usage. We saw everything from baby to babe to cutie to gorgeous. It was a bit much. I also wasn't fond of people being so enamored of Maggie's new ability. Kissing fingers and hands? Did I wander into a Godfather movie? The entire thing felt a bit cult-like. Even so, those were small pieces of a story that finally started to show some real potential. The setting for book 3 appears to be interesting as well. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
