3.5 stars. Adult Review for erotic content. My initial impression was off about Cat Scratch Fever. I'd assumed by reading the first chapter that this was pretty much a PWP (porn without plot), which would have been fine. I just so happened to need a good day or two of light reading before taking on a couple of more serious reads that I have lined up.Surprisingly, there was more than just sex. The story was cute too. So cute, that I'd actually wished there had been more length involved (no, that was not a bad pun). The little tidbits of information surrounding the shifter world would have been interesting if they had been expanded upon. I wanted to know more about their day-to-day living as a pack. There was a little bit of humor, banter and even some dirty talk. The sex was sexy and sweet, and I'm always down to read another twist on "enemies turned lovers." I won't fault a little bit of cheese (lingo such as "sweet mother of whiskers"), or the falling in love practically overnight. You can't expect too much time spent on world or character building with a shorter novella. This was a fun read, although nothing memorable. I'll forget it by tomorrow but that's okay. It entertained me in the moment and that's all I wanted.Want to see a pissed off werewolf? Start bating him about the size of his wiener.
