This was a fun book with lots of great humor and extremely hilarious predicaments that the main character gets herself into. The characters were incredibly well done. I could picture each one of them, and loved all of the interesting personality quirks. I can tell that Grandma Mazur is going to be one of the shining stars of the series. You can't go wrong with flawed characters, and Stephanie is definitely flawed, but in a good way. I can not wait to see how her earnest and somewhat bumbling nature is going to be played out on screen in the movie version of the book.So if I liked the book, why not the higher rating? Well...I liked the characters, the humor, and especially Stephanie's interactions with Morelli. What I didn't care for was her actual job as a bounty hunter. I found myself skimming a few parts here and there when she wasn't actually interacting with others. Maybe that's still my aversion to all things contemporary, but real life jobs have never interested me.Will I read more? I don't know.
