After not being as thrilled with book 3 (St. Vincent's book), I was back on track with Scandal in Spring. I enjoyed this one almost as much as Marcus' story. There weren't as many humorous quote-worthy moments, but this doesn't mean that the book was devoid of humor. The interactions between Matthew and Daisy were often amusing in and of themselves, but not as in-your-face as they would be with other characters. I found it fitting, however, considering that neither of these two were as brash as some of the previous characters. As always, I never have regrets with reading a Kleypas book.
