If you are not reading the Elementals series, you are missing out. I can't think of many other series which are quite as fun as this one.I also can't think of many other series featuring a household of hot brothers.Just a heads up : I'm writing this review based on the assumption that you've all read the book's description first. If you've at least read that, then you won't be getting any spoilers from me. So who here guessed that Nick might be looking twice at guys? Anyone? Anyone? I know that I wasn't the only one who had no clue until the book description for Breathless came out. Well, isn't this an interesting twist? So there's one less Merrick for the females to fight over. I have the feeling that Nick's journey will be an emotional one to watch. How is Gabe going to take the news about his twin? Btw, I'm just going to say that I called it. I knew Nick's story was not going to be a dull one like so many people were afraid of. Yep. I just knew. I think I'm going to open up a fortune-telling business. There wasn't much element-y stuff going on in this short, but the smokin' hot scene kind of made up for the lack of magical goodness. Although, I really do hope that we get to see more of what Nick's power can do in his own book. I'm ready to see him kick butt. My only complaint is that I think Adam took a few too many liberties at times. He came across as pushy without meaning to, I think. But ah well...nothing can be perfect. How long is the wait now for his full-length story? It can't come soon enough, imo. :(This book provided from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
