I read this one months ago, but must have never reviewed it because I just found it on my tbr while cleaning it out. So here's my semi-fuzzy review.I can see why others would like this book. It's very emotional. One man is dying and he invites his best friend to step in to take care of his wife after he dies - in every single way, including being her dom.If you like emotional and heart-wrenching books, you'll probably like this one. If you're curious or wanting to learn more about the BDSM lifestyle, you might want to check the book out. If you're looking for hot erotica...hmm...well...I don't really know how to break it to you. For me, I had no interest in watching the 'new guy' take over his best friend's position. For most of the book, it was all about grief and guilt. The hot scenes were so laced with guilt, that even I felt guilty for wanting the new guy to hook up with the girl. It was a bummer to the point where I didn't enjoy the transition or "passing of the torch," if you will from old husband to new husband.Having let that out, I have to add that most everyone else who has read the book seems to love it, so take what I've said with a grain of salt. This could very well be one of those instances where the problem is with me, not the book itself.I'd probably recommend this one to fans of Megan Hart, who writes similar erotica books which tend to have a serious tone to them.
