Good book, but I feel bad for only giving it a lower rating. I'm very much a mood reader, and if I have to read something that I'm not in the mood for, it effects the way I feel about the book. This one was a group read for a group I mod, so part of me feels responsible to keep up with the current group dynamic. If I had read this one at another time, it might very well have been a higher rating. Or maybe not. I did find myself skimming some parts, but the concept was pretty cool. Andi was an interesting girl, but all of her "quirky" friends started driving me up the wall. Seriously - everywhere she went, no matter who she connected with, the person was an unusual character - even when she LEFT THE COUNTRY.Eh. If you like historical fiction and indie New York kids, this one should make it to your list. Otherwise, I'd move along.
