Going into this book, I wasn't sure what to expect. I half expected it to be leaning heavier toward a sci-fi element, since the story involves a door that was built by Da Vinci himself to become a time machine. What I found was a sweet love story intertwined with a story about a group of people who had the power to manipulate time by passing from this world into a world connecting the past and present.I was immediately sucked into the story within minutes, and found myself wanting to make time to read this book. The story was one that I hadn't read before, which is always a bonus. My one complaint was that the book felt silly in parts. The school play scenes and some of the character reactions were a bit much for me.
