Burned: A House of Night Novel

Burned: A House of Night Novel - 'P. C. Cast', 'Kristin Cast' House of Night is sort of a guilty pleasure for me. The series is sloppy, immature, and shallow, but the books are a quick and entertaining read.Book 7 of the series was written from an array of viewpoints, constantly switching from one person to the next. None of the previous books had been written in this style, which made this installment feel confusing and out of place. The whole book felt as if multiple personalities were clashing with one another. Given that Zoey was off in la-la land, it made sense to shift the perspective to another person, but I would have preferred it if the Casts had stuck with one character. Stevie Ray's segments were the only ones that really interested me. I hesitantly give this book 2.5 stars because I still enjoy this world and the road that the characters are on, but don't feel comfortable putting this series anywhere near my top list.
