4.5 stars. I'm falling deeper in love with Kleypas' writing as I continue further into the life of the Hathaways. Don't let her deceptively generic romance novel covers fool you. This chick can write fun and entertaining stories! Her love scenes are somehow different and more captivating than the standard romance fare. She adds in these silly little mishaps that make the journey more interesting. I actually care about the predicaments that her characters find themselves in, even when I know that it's already a given who's ending up with who (whom?).This book had so many great elements that I love in my stories :Spunky and headstrong heroine? Check.Grumpy and slightly possesive hero? Check.Offbeat side characters? Check.Snarky and/or witty banter? Check. In spades.Whoever recommended this author to me...bless you for your rec. I wish I could remember who to thank!
